Customers of Contact Anywhere liked web-based computing so much, they asked us to provide similar facilities for their files and documents. Now they can store their brochures, letters, spreadsheets, etc. on the web.
Again the benefits are clear. Everything is available anywhere, anytime to authorised users. It's like making your fileserver available on the internet but without having to set up complicated firewalls and user privileges.
Access to documents is controlled by user privilege. So you can make price lists and brochures available to customers, while other documents are available only to specific employees, customers, suppliers. Users can be allowed to simply access documents, or update them.
